Since 2004 as a faith family we have partnered with CMU building churches in Brazil. Through that partnership we were introduced to Chuck’s House in Hope Hull, AL. For years now we have used Chucks House for retreats, camps, and a base for mission work in and around Montgomery. Chuck and his staff have a heart for God, The Gospel and missions. I’ve no question the Lord has used our time at Chucks House for His glory and our good.

Life kind of slows down when you’re at the farm, and you can take a moment to breathe, refresh your soul, and build deeper relationships with people you’ve known for years, or people you’ve just met. Chuck’s House is truly the CMU family home.

Chuck’s House and CMU ministries have been great friends of Journey Church over the last fourteen years and a huge help towards fulfilling Journey Church’s mission. They have hosted our “Man Camp” the last four years of fifty plus men, Staff Retreats, and Leadership Training Retreats through the years. It’s a great place to get away, yet close to whatever you might need. Chuck and his staff always go above and beyond to help create a great experience for everyone.
